Sure. There's several japanese markets near here and they all sell sushi-grade fishies sooo.. Ya. I make a lotta veggie ones too like artichoke hearts and sweet tofu and macademia nuts, or shittake mushrooms and eggs and green onions. Very tastey.
Good rice is the important part. Short grain sweet white rice and then just the right amount of vinegar and sugar to give it a good taste and make it sticky. The rest is just learning to roll it. 's not so hard though. :)
