So. Stacey's hives are back and she feels really awful (not to mention having a black eye but that's another story entierly) Anyhow, she asked me if I'd draw her a deer girl and she wanted it to be purple so I did. Just a quickie sketch and some super-cheap coloring in Illustrator. http://us-p.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/Samantha-Patterson/18_and_over/Deer.gif (As the URL implies, NSFW) My feeling? Not bad for a 10-minute sketch and an hour of fiddling around in Illustrator.

Also, the day before yesterday, I uploaded http://us-p.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/Samantha-Patterson/fox-parade.jpg to Velar (it'd been sitting unfinished on my machine for about a year, so I finished it) Not sure why but it's been immensely popular according to hit statistics it's gotten over 1K hits in a day. (Either that or the hit counter is broken)

In other news, Glenn Barr makes me laugh. His art was very giggle-making for Jon and I... And he does Betty Rubble porn. Heh! *^_^*;

I was feeling silly and wanted to record a fun scene I had with an acquaintance. Anyhow, there was five hours and five or six pages of sekteches where you warmed up (see the background for the good ones)

Yeah, they're getting better, but I don't know what's bringing them on. I'm using claritin (well, a non-brand) to treat it. Works okay, but if can't find out what's doing it... Bleah.

While up with heartburn last night I looked through Barr's site, and basically the capsule summary of the style I could come up with is; early 60s popular culture as marketing tools for the makers of sleeping pills and cheap bourbon.
