Changed the look of my website: http://circle.twu.net It now has a consistent color scheme and design style (just the main page stuff so far, I haven't gone through the back pages yet) Comments and suggestions appreciated. I tried it with Safari, IE, Netscape 7 (mac) and Firefox (mac). The later two don't appear to support frames.. Or maybe it's CSS they don't like. In any event, it directs you to the stone-club page which is HTML 2.0 compliant. Oh. It also works for Lynx. I haven't done any PC or linux testing though.

When I built it, I tried to exercize a little colour theory and make the icons similar to one another in style but easily identifiable. Despite the 3D-ness, all the icons were done in Illustrator. I also redesigned the Half Circle logo to something much more simple and less geeky (the previous design was film spools and animation disks) It doesn't match the icons of course, the large areas of flat bold colour are supposed to draw the eye to it and attract attention. I also bumped down the intensity of the 'News' content just a bit to make the menu and sidebar pop. I think this website design is only 3 years out of date! I'm catching up! Also, this is my lightest page to date. The entire set of frames and icons is a whopping 20K. (plus whatever is in the News page) The largest downloads for this page are the HTML source.
Anyhow, I'll finish the supporting pages over the next few days. In the meanwhile, opinions on this one would be appreciated.
