Random things

I took a walk to the park and sat down, picked up a few handfuls of warm gravel and sifted them through my fingers. For no real reason, other than I had a sharpie with me, I started drawing little tiny faces, numbers, and cryptic runes on the stones then threw them back into the gravel. Ha. Let the archaeologists try to figure that one out in a thousand years.

I always think the archaeologists are going to go batshit, because nothing has a consistent style or distribution anymore.

depends on what survives, and for how long. Hell, for all we know, everything except the trillions of rubber soled shoes will survive...

An entire civilization based on shoes...


Theoretically one might think our civilization is at it's peak... we spend so much effort and energy into personal self indulgence. We basically raise large groups of people who if the machines stopped working, would not be able to feed or clothe themselves. What from this society will be later found to describe how we were?
A hundred, a thousand... a million years from now? What will we have left?

On behalf of all archeaologists everywhere I resolve to save this blog entry and pass it on to my children and their children and when future historical archeaologists start pulling their hair out, my clan will be able to say "WE have the answer, see!"
