234

My new mouthbolt has numbers stamped in it. 2 3/4. I suppose these must relate to the threading or size or something. I wonder what units they're measured in? I'd rather be metric so that I'm cross-compatible with a wider range of foreign cyborgs. Stacey says my key is something very fine and rather like a torques with a slash through it. I really ought to get some algentine and bite it so that I have an imprint of my key for later use.

Barely relevant: I saw a guy in traffic yesterday with the license plate BMEZINE.

*pleasant synthesized tweeble*

Attention, Unit 234. Please open your oral port immediately and prepare to dock with the mothership.

Wow. That's both terrifying and sexy. I'm going to have fantasies/nightmares.

Also, I made an error in reporting my numbers. I am 2 5/4 which pleasantly makes less sense. :)

Are you 10/6 in this size? :)

I would give anything to have the Mad Hatter as my cyborg dentist. Wow. All the free mercury you can store! :)

Obviously, this is a link to your memory loss, and you need to angst about it before hightailing it to British Columbia to look for secret Canadian military labs.

Megahertz, of course. Remember that old Gilligan's Island episode where Gilligan's fillings acted as a radio? That's a real phenomenon, and now scientists are tuning mouth gear in order to pick up simple broadcasts. They're not going to play radio into your mouth; they're going to embed electronics into your fillings and bridges and such so that they'll alert you when you need to go in for maintenance. Neat, huh? And also a complete lie!

I think Lucy from "I love Lucy" was able to pick up radio once... If that happens to me, I want to be tuned into NPR at least...

There's a big 2 and then on the other side of the head there's a 5/4; with the numerals arranged vertically to each other and the mark is straight ascross and narrow. The numbers are parallel to the flat bisecting channel which goes through the center bit.

Hmm. Well, really that's even better. 5/4 is an odd way to express any measurement so it's probably not a measurement. :)
