So,
For the rest of the car nonsense, I got fined $140 for 'excessive speed for conditions'. Fuckers. I was going about 30MPH under the speed limit at the time. Plus the mirror is going to cost about $250 to replace (getting done today) PLUS someone hit my car the day before yesterday and did quite a bit of damage to the bumper and they drove off. (Understandably, given the ass-fucking I got from the police. I don't blame em but a note might have been nice.)
So, I went to take the car to the shop this morning and go to the garage to get my bike (remember, it had a flat the day of the accident) well... Just to make sure I rmeembered what a fucking great day I'd had, a bottle of drain cleaner got spilled in the garage and made about a 4" wide riverlet across the garage... RIGHT ACROSS where my chain and sprocket were touching the ground (because the tire was still off the bike, though I had put a new tube in it a week or so ago) GODDAMNIT!!! So I ended up riding Stacey's bike AGAIN. Really not sure exactly what I did to deserve such a cosmic assfucking but I really fucking appreciate it. NOT.
My water bottle got left in the car because the holder on Stacey's bike is loose. The train got to the station just as I did and (because my money was crumpled) left without me... Probably the best thing that happened up to that point today. Gosh. Sitting in the sun for a half hour and sketching was horrible. (determined not to have a bad day here). A woman with three thumbs sat down next to me. One of her thumbs was divergent and had an extra set of joints and two tips complete with nails (painted) It was nicely surreal and oddly plesant-looking.
Anyhow... I'm at work now and it's a bit more relaxed. Most everyone thinks the new hair is pretty groovy and Kim and Ronhave agreed that I should go fluorescent if I want to. Hmm. Cool. :) I think I'm going to get used to it being this colour first tho.

On the other hand, I'm glad the new hair is appreciated, especially since I'm the one who helped make it all purple!
