Bush sent Cheney to Auschwitz in his place today. (Figures, don't it?)
So I thought I'd speculate on why.

I believe you used the wrong buttons - with Bush, there's always more than one choice, especially if the motivation lacks honor, maturity, or decency.

I am STILL pissed about his grandfather. While Bush's grandpappy was making money with his German pals, my birthplace was being bombed to the ground by German aircraft, and French members of my family were in Auschwitz. George W's ability to live his life with no responsibility, and run my country with no accountability as a result, is partly thanks to those financial dealings. Scum. I hope his precious god spits at each and every one of his oh-so-frequent prayers.
