pasitheaWow! The weekends really seem to fly by when you're working full-time and taking a full-time classload as well. Yet from the syllabuses (syllabusii?) it looks reasonably managable, and I'm already making plans on the sorts of projects I want to do for each class.
Anyhow, I'm ahead on all my work at the moment and am using the time to finish up orphan projects. I used to be really bad about starting projects and not finishing them, so lately I've been trying to go back and finish up some of these abandoned projects. For instance, 'Pizza Dude' is a mini-cartoon I started animating over a year ago and then I got busy at work and left it unfinished. It's about a 30 hour project, of which, about 25 hours of it were done. So last night I put a good 4 hours of work into it and I should be able to finish it tonight. It seems silly to have done so much of a project and then left it unfinished, but I have several projects like this.
I guess it says something good that I'm finally going back and finishing them, but I'm still kind of ashamed of being so scatterbrained and leaving things unfinished in the first place.
Anyhow, 'Pizza Dude' will be finished tonight (Unless the power goes out or I get hit by a bus, so watch for a URL! It's my first animation with talking, shadows, and a wild take!) Meanwhile, if you're interested, here's another orphan project I just recently finished after it'd been sitting idle for almost THREE YEARS!
