Pleasant Casual Day
Slept until 1. Damn you Daylight Saving's Time, but then the rest of the day was good.
Did the dishes, cleaned out the garage, carried nice heavy books and put them on the shelves and then I gardened the rest of the day. Turned and tilled about 80 square feet, then planted all my little seedlings (except the eggplants, we had a cold snap last week so I'm going to wait another week before putting them out) :D I like plants! I hope they like their new home. I'm worried the soil might be too acidic because it's under evergreen trees, but I guess I'll find out in a few days.
So letsee. So far I have planted: Kobachi, Acorn, Butternut, Trompecini, Sunburst, PeterPan, Emerald, Gold Zuchini, Jade Zuchini, and Black Beauty Zuchini squashes plus American and Lemon cucumbers, green zebra, cherokee purple, and brandywine tomatos, and snow peas. Still to plant: Beans, 3 types of eggplants, and a plethora of herbs. Small garden this year. Ohwell. Last year I had no garden at all. :(
Maybe next week I'll get around to planting more flowers in the front and getting more more houseplants. Our cats have been surprisingly well behaved about not eating plants lately.
