Holiday thing

Well. that turned out pretty okay. Did a lot of stuff on Wednesday so on Thursday it wasn't nearly as chaotic as years past and we were only about 45 minutes late serving data (well up from the 4-8 hrs of previous years) The only major mishap was I turned on the wrong burner after taking Stacey's stuffing out of the often (and sitting it on the burner I turned on) thus burning the bottom of an otherwise great stuffing. Accident aside, everything else went fine.

2 turkeys (one roast, one smoked)
4 pumpkin pies
1 apple/quince pie
A big tray of raw veggies
Stemmed carrots, broccili, peas, and brussel sprouts
Green beans
Ham with lime sauce (I think I wore this joke out)
rolls
stuffing
mashed potatos
stuffed cabbage rolls
gravy
and I think I'm forgetting a few other things. Two days of cooking. Hee. :) Funfun.

Ohh, that sounds delicious (especially the apple/quince pie ;-)

You forgot the lime jello salad!

And that was homemade giblet gravy, and rosemary thyme dressing, not just 'stuffing' ^-^ An' we did forty eight rolls, gosh, I shoulda got another two dozen. And I did server two types of cranberry sauce...

...We didn't even open the two melons or cook the yams and we totally missed the pickles and olives you got.

Having three wines, eggnog, milk, various sodas and sparkling cider wasn't a broken feat, either.
