pasitheaSoo.... After being told I had to work late, I decided to take a long lunch to ya'know... prepare (IE, I was down to the last page in my sketchbook and I wanted to see if I could find a particular type of pencil)
Anyhow, there's a toystore next to the artstore that has a whole bunch of el-cheapo plastic toys... I discovered last night that my audio track for my current animation project (which is actually an old animation project that had been on hiatus for like 4 years because I didn't have the necissary drawing skills at the time) was missing. So I thought, 'AH HA! I can get a turbo whistle!' (One of those ones that makes jet engine sounds) 'n' then I noticed... Next to the turbo whistles were train whistles. Oooh! And cheap harmonicas! OOOOH! And TWO TYPES of slide whistles!!! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ So I ended up with 3 turbo whistles, 2 slide whistles, a train whistle, and a harmonica for a whopping $4.97 MWAHAHAHA! I am a sound-effects making machine now! ^_^
*sigh* Of course, I have to work until 11 so I won't get to play with them tonight. Foo. Or get started on my current animation thingy. Double-foo. Ohwell. tomorrow! Yes tomorrow I shall make a plethora of strange and fabulous noises! :D
