Sep. 11th, 2004 03:43 pmOkay... It's apparent I must be losing weight, even if the scale says I'm holding steady.
I know this because the last FOUR DAYS IN A ROW, I've had guys toot their horn, whistle at me, and one 'Hey baby!' while I'm bicycling. Not to mention the bozos at the lumber yard. Eesh. I'd forgot how annoying this was. I mean geez. I wearing blue jeans and a tee shirt and covered in sweat and panting heavily. I can't POSSIBLY look that good. In the bathroom mirror I think I look like... A hot sweaty person badly in need of a shower and some conditioner. What gives. Feh. I got this nonstop when I was in my 20s but I'm 32 now, and I'm _STILL_ 20lbs heavier now than I was then. (And NOT in the right places, I assure you!) So what's the deal?
*sigh* Left early today too and it was really too hot to bike, so while my numbers are up for the 11.5M route, it felt pretty cruddy and was not the run I wanted to have today to blow my previous times out of the water.
Dist: 11.5M
Avg: 16.3MPH
Avg w/o lights: 17ish. (Not many lights today)
Top speed: 29.0
