Status Report Mr Sulu!

pasitheaSo... Yesterday I bought a 12' 2x6 (and I'll spare you the story of the stupid men at the lumber yard who couldn't conceive of a woman wanting construction grade lumber instead of pretty 4-plane redwood for making decks, nor that she could carry it her own damn self.)
So anyhow, yesterday evening I pulled down all of the stuff in the garage attic then climbed up and installed my new cross beam to vastly improve the structural integrity of the attic. (which was a sheet of plywood on 2 beams; now on three. So now I can stand up there without the surfaces sagging, whereas I was afraid to even crawl out on the boards before. Then I put all the stuff back up in the attic. Lots of climbing and carrying heavy boxes. Oy. Heehee. Soo much work left to do, so little time. ^_^
The rest is just cleaning though. Shouldn't be too bad.
