Heh. Harnesses are only for extended comfort, and to be able to get out of quickly. And the band I referred to is an extremely durable length of stuff that you can't stick a blade through, and I can't really describe with any success. Trick is, it's not terribly comfortable, you have to go through all the bother of looping it about your waist and legs and tieing it just right. As with anything, it's not always about money, but sometimes experience instead/too.
