I've come to accept that some amount of slack is inevitable and I should stop beating myself up over it.
However, I've also realized I can chose better/more productive slack. I bothered Qdot for ideas on good tech blogs to read a few days ago and got: Lambda the Ultimate
This is definitely the sort of thing I'm looking for. If anyone else can recommend tech blogs or other recommended reading, here's a short list of topics I'm interested in.
Languages: C++/C#, Java, Python, SQL
Subjects: 2D/3D cross-platform rendering, Agile Project Management, Data-mining/analysis algorithms, Software Design and Architecture, Modern User Interfaces.
I'm looking for good content, low on opinion and advertisement.
Outside of industry-specific stuff, I have a general interest in meditation and focus, and streamlining workflow.
