Er gosh. Now I feel a few kinds of foolish. Last night, a friend (not sure if they want to be named or not but thank you very much either way, mysterious masked creature) sent me some additional money. Stacey and I talked and I think she's just tired of listening to me mope about not going and told me to go. Instead of a ticket for her, she wants to use the extra money for safety margin and to get the car tuned up (probably wise)

So... I worked out the logistics last night. I have a LOT of work to do in the next week and a half and that's not even counting the work on the stairs. Heh. It's _just_ doable though. Most of our gear from previous years is in good shape and every year we've done our packing lists in google docs and we've kept a list of 'things to make next year better'. So the bulk of the really difficult work is done although I still have quite a list of things to prep.

I'm not sure this is the sanest thing I've ever done but it should be ... interesting... at the very least.

Heh. I keep shifting between ecstatic and terrified. :)
