GALACTUS

This morning, on my way to work, I found Galactus! O_O

Well. Lactarius Xanthogalactus.

It's a type of mushroom classified as inedible because it tastes like burning. Apparently, Finns, Swedes, and Russians eat them by boiling them a couple of times to remove the bitterness and some of the burn.

Spicy pickles, anyone? :)

Once again, Halloween snuck up on me. I didn't get around to really making a costume so I threw on a bunch of stuff that I'd wear on the weekend and wore it to work.

I wish I could take credit for these incredibly fabulous hair falls but prickvixen made them. They're SO gorgeous. I can't believe she let me swipe them. :)

Rest of the stuff is mostly made by me. Armlets and pants, head scarf, star, etc. I wish the pants showed better. They're strange and furry. They cost me about $2 in discount materials at the fabric store. :)

One of these days, I'm going to get around to taking photos of myself with something other than the webcam in my notebook. I used to do a lot of decent photography. I guess I fell out of the habit when my 35mm camera broke down.
