Where is the 'Not Suck' preference in Illustrator CS3? I can't seem to find it.
Barring that, please help calm my angry monkeybrain. How the heck to I get it to obey my context like AI 10 did?
When I use the pencil tool and hit 'delete' it's because I didn't like that particular line. Not because I wanted to eradicate my fill preferences and make it so that future draws are now empty. Clicking on another piece with the same style as what I'd been using and then drawing does not correct it.
It continues to be hateful. Why? What did I do to you, Illustrator? I loved you enough to buy a legal copy. Why you treat Kong badly? *monkeysulk*
Edit: The answer appears to be 'bug' in addition to 'stupid option in pencil tool' preferences. I guess it's time to stop putting off dealing with Adobe Updater being a broken piece of junk.
Edit2: Haha! Screw you updater! The internetz pwnz joo!
Edit3: I hadn't realized it'd been such a long time since I tried to do any finished work in Illustrator. I haven't really used CS3 at all other than really quick stuff. Ohwell. Back to work. Hopefully 13.0.2 is more stable.
