It's ATOMIC!

So... My old alarm clock started acting odd a couple of weeks ago and has decided finally to start missing alarms so Stacey bought me a new one a couple of days ago.

I didn't chose my old clock, it ended up with me. I believe it originally belonged to Keely. There are some other digitial alarm clocks in the house. One belonged to my grandfather (who died several years ago) one to my ex boyfriend (Chris) and Stacey has one that's exactly identical to the one that belonged to Chris. Before that, my parents gave my brother and I identical clockradiotelephone things. ( Tangent )

Anyhow, this was the most reliable of the clocks in the house and only other one that's both fairly functional and doesn't hav ea lot of bad energy vested in it is already in use in the office. So Stacey picked out a new one for me.

When buying it, I had said it didn't make a difference, a clock is a clock. In hindsight, maybe not. She got one that uses the atomic clock to set itself so I don't have to bother. Also, it has a green display. All of the other clocks are red. I was surprised how much happier I felt going to bed int he cool green glow. i've always foudn the red kind of eye hurty and hateful but... It's an alarm clock. You're supposed to hate it. Also, the alarm on this clock is soft and gentle, a very nice sound to wake up to, unlike the old clock which had a grating alarm that hurt my ears.

I like this clock a lot better than the old one. It's strange to thing that it might have such a weird effect on my mood though.

Little things.

With daylight savings time, I switched back to bicycling to work. Today was my first day.

So.. I got a flat on my way home tonight. I give up. I bought the damn heavy tire and telfon strip thing for my rear tire. It won't help, I know the world will find some way to burst my tire within a week but I f***ing give up. I'm sick of having to change tubes and it's ALWAYS the rear tire! Why!?!?!

This time it was A PIECE OF A RAZOR BLADE! Seriously. There just HAPPENED to be a bit of razor blade stuck somewhere at JUST THE RIGHT ANGLE to penetrate into my tire. *sigh* anyhow, Stacey change the tire for me this time.

I made her dinner. Salmon burgers with a cream sauce I made out of onion, avacado, cucumber and some korean herb I can't remember the name of now. (It was somewhere between cilantro and mint in flavor) The cream sauce was a little bitter but the multi-grain bread was a little sweet, so it came out very nicely balanced. All in all. Delicious.

Other little things.

Yesterday I bought bleach. Oooh... I'm going to make my hair purple for real this time. I also just got out of the shower after shaving _everything_ Goddess I feel so much better now! I hadn't done that in a month. Mmm. Smooth!

Last night, I was a giant snail. :) Sometimes Second Life is just too cool. I went to the giant snail races and I discovered that not only could I just sit and watch giant snail races (I mean how cool is that just in and of itself) But no! I could also _BE_ a giant snail and join the race!

I am working on an improved version of my BVH exporter. Once that's done, lots of things I want to animate. Also pondering various money-making schemes. I've got some programming and art/animation ideas for second lifebut at 40 cents per 1000 lindens, that's not a good solution. Furry art? Ha. Like I'm good enough to get comissions. Hmm. Maybe if I animated h0t wolfboi porn... Anyhow. I definetely need some better ideas.

I need to submit Free as a Bird to some animation festivals. It's a 5 minute film, and it's at least mediocre compared to festival stuff I've seen.

Longterm, I now have a plan for world non-domination. It'd take me at least 15 years though. Step one is some public speaking and debate classes. So I may investigate that for next quarter. I honestly do think that if I worked at it, I could achieve world non-domination within 15 years. Time will tell, I suppose.

Still no word from my cousin. :/
