Last night was an important reminder.
Animation doesn't need to be well-rendered to be well-done. It can look like it was scrawled by a 3 year old and still be funny and have interesting motion. I should remember this and I should do more and more interesting work. My early work was very abstract and non-representational and I still like it 10 years later. My more recent stuff has been too linear, literal, and representational.
