Classy Guitar

Has my first real playing session of guitar class yesterday. I am very happy I took it. While I'm way way ahead of most of my classmates (many of whom cannot even read music yet) I'm learning a ton of new stuff. Its a different kind of playing than I've been doing. (fingers instead of picks) and multiple fingers at that so thus far, it's been very interesting/exciting and good. My left hand only has a simple thing to learn in this class about where the thumb goes. My right has a lot to learn. :)
I should note the instructor is also just an amazing player. He can switch styles and rhythms totally fluidly and it sounds unbelievably good. Lots of lonely spanish guitar so sad it puts you on the verge of crying in seconds. I am truly in awe. Of course, all this leaves me wanting a classic guitar now (nylon string) but maybe I'll learn to play a bit better before spending any more money on a different sound. :)
