Count Macula

So... The new iBook arrives tomorrow. Last night, just on a whim I glanced at eBay and lo and behold, there was a Duo 2300 keyboard (working guarenteed, excellent rated seller) with a buy-it-now of $10 + $5 shipping! W00T! That and the battery time are the only two problems with my Duo. So now I can fix it, figure out how to recondition the battery (or find some better ones) and we'll have a second laptop that can be used for texty stuff and web browsing. Woo. :) Now if I could just remember how to turn off the kernel debugger on it. :)

So stupid I'm left slackjawed with wonder

My computer is held up in Customs and probably will not arrive tomorrow. My APPLE computer. Yes.. Never underestimate the utter incompetence of the masses. My computer is sitting in Indiana awaiting FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION approval... Because the box says

APPLE

on it and someone, somehow, despite Apple being a major brand of computers and despite their shipping THOUSANDS OF COMPUTERS a day decided that MY PACKAGE contained ACTUAL apples. Good grief.
