Who'd ever be happy to hear that phrase?

Me.

I'm done with the stupid bunny animation drawing! My time in Hell is at an end!

or at the very least I got a day pass. But the important part is: I really actually finished the tedious part.

I still have the video editing to do but I'm starting to see things in the corners of my glasses now so I better get to bed. Anyhow, that's the easy part and now I can finally move on to things more enjoyable. Yay!

So... While looking for film, I found a buncha rolls of undeveloped film and decided to run them through processing. Lots of OLD photos of Stacey and I. Kind of warm 'n' fuzzy finding a cache of all these happy memories hidden on those rolls. Of course, I also found a lot of fun stuff... Like... This:

And several more like it. Click the picture and you'll see them all stuck together into an animated spinning-[livejournal.com profile] roon >:D I wonder how much he'll pay me to take this down. :) Okay. It's a bit jumpy. The advance on my 35mm is manual and I wasn't trying to make animation at the time, but still fun. Hee! My parties always make people feel like this. :)

In the Saturday animation workshop class, we had sort of like an Ambush as sort of a warm up to the class. She gave us a short story and we were to construct a visual representation of it in about 30 minutes. I may not draw exceptionally well, but I do draw exceptionally fast. 's why I switched to doing animations for the Ambush. So anyhow, I did a pretty good-sized storyboard in the allotted time. :)

Of all the ones in the class, I think it was the most visually successful, or at least it was the only one that got giggles from the class when we were presenting it. (Though that could be because it was the worst) At the bottom of the photos is the story we were to do.
The storyboard is in a cut because it's big and graphicy )

Okay. Bunny down, now back to work on other projects. I've got a project I'm working on with Paka, and this project which I'm trying to do for Film Finals competition in June. It's titled, 'Free as a Bird'. Initial Storyboard is here It will probably go through another revision or two after I get the animatic done. It's a big project and involves quadrupeds and flying, so it's challenging, but it also has a degree of fun to it. I don't need it to look perfect. It's going to be black and white with ink washes. Going for sort of a french animation feel. 'm onna productive streak this morning! Off to photo bunny stuff for final edit and ink and paint. :)
