I think my meeting kinkyturtle was probably a very bad thing that never should have happened and the world will be flung into a new dark ages for our having met.

That said, I discovered last night that manicotti whistle pretty clearly when you blow across them. (dry, of course) I am now constructing a pasta pan-flute from manicotti and capping the ends with lentils. I think this musical instrument rightly belongs to KT.

My spouse returns home tomorrow night. I wonder how much further I'll have slipped into madness by then?

Hmm... remember Whistle-Pops? Whistle-shaped lollipops that really worked as whistles. You could play them while sucking on them!

I've decided on the pan flute that when I get the noodles plugged and pitched properly that I'm going to bind them together with linguini. I also think I'm going to make a clamshell case for it out of a paper plate. Somehow it seems proper. I may also have to make a dyed macaroni necklace you can hang it on.

Err... but too much more of this and people might start thinking you're my mother. ^_^
