Anniversary

Stacey and I celebrated our 6th year together yesterday. I never really thought I'd be with anyone this long. It's been an interesting time. The past year in particular has been especially good. It's a curious feeling, peace, one I never thought I'd know. While I'm always going on about my ambitions, I don't think I'd be able to do half of what I do if I didn't have such a partner constantly helping out behind the scenes.


For dinner, we tried a rather fancy french vegetarian resturant; Stoa
( http://www.stoarestaurant.com/ ) REALLY excellent food and
rather gorgeous presentations but the staff was also rather simple and friendly, so while yes, it was a very expensive resturant (by my standards at any rate) it had a very warm and friendly atmosphere and I did not feel like I was 'out of place'. The food was amazingly good. I think every other expensive resturant I've been to I felt I could prepare something at least close to what was served but this was REALLY the work of a master chef. It was leagues better than anything I could make. I'm VERY impressed.
