Its interesting, verging on a cruel chuckle that it is being strongly supported by Nancy Reagan. See, in 1982, Ronald Reagan IMPOSED THE BAN against Stem Cell Research and delayed by TWELVE YEARS research that could have kept him from becoming a diaper-wearing mindless sack of meat. He was all too happy to consign others to this fate, I think its a fitting end to him for it. Any research that happens now will come much too late for him but at least Nancy seems to have learned the lesson and grown something of a heart. No one should have to face a disease like Altzheimers. I can honestly say that of all the diseases, abuses, and everything else in the world, things like altzheimers are the only things I really truly fear. I'd rather be tortured to death than rot in a body while my mind slipped away.
