... Um. Okay. Looks legit. I guess I'm sorta disappointed that all the women conform to mainstream beauty definitions, I'd like a few heavier women in the cast, also some older women, and some butcher women.

It probably has something to do with feeling like queer films should be closer to you than mainstream films. It's easy to brush off mainstream media because it's not aimed at the weirdos like us (Gee, 'Diva... projection much? :) ), but it stings more when queer films aren't aimed any more at people like me than the mainstream ones are. It'd be nice to think that sexuality is enough of a commonality that other things would fall into place as well.
