I made food tonight that I'm not sure if it was absolutely fantastically delicious or really really gawdawful...
In a skillet with teeny bit of coconut milk and ghee I seered pieces of papaya and banana. In a bigger saucepan, I heated the rest of the can of coconut milk and about a tablespoon of thai yellow curry paste and 3 thai dragon peppers. I added some chicken into the curry mix, then near the end I added the papaya and banna and about half a can of cubed pineapple and let cook for about another five minutes, remove from heat, throw in a couple sprigs of fresh mint.
Yes, it was sweet but not nearly as sweet as it sounds. It had a really delicate, interesting, and subtle flavours but verged on being overpowering. The texture was definetely a bit of a failing, everything was very soft. So... Not sure I'd recommend it for everyone but it was definetely interesting.
