My Methi Lab
You know, people keep saying that half the houses up here in the mountains are meth labs, so it follows that....
... We missed early spring planting due to a variety of factors and that means we don't get to grow a lot of our own greens this year. Collards, chard, and such grown in the summer tends to come out bitter and not very good... Although it's been so cold this year that we probably could have started them a month ago and still gotten good crops. But anyhow...
A few months ago, we bought some fenugreek and the smallest quantity it came in at the indian market was like a half a pound. We just won't use it up fast enough to have that much BUT fenugreek is the seed of methi and methi is grown in the summer so it will be more pungent and flavorful. So... I set some seeds to soak overnight and Stacey is going to get them planted today and in a month we should have deliciousness.
And... I think that's it for inane posts from me today.
