Okay, so what's supposed to be so wonderful about capitalism as a system, the whole free market economy, is that anyone has a chance to make it, that consumers are constantly offered a wealth of options through competition. A lot of the benefits of the public health thing seem like they'd be great for everything capitalism is supposed to be about; a healthy workforce producing more effectively, potential entrepreneurs and small business owners having the opportunity to work on their dreams, mid-level businesses being able to expand, less fearful people having more money available to dump back into the market. Wait a moment, if that's not a healthy free market economy, what do the "capitalist" foes of "socialism" really want?
"Fascism" hadn't occurred to me, but "feudalism" had.
