A couple of new sketches.
I forgot to mention that the mechanical squirrel thing I posted was the first thing I'd coloured on the train. (For that matter, I drew a lot of the backgrounds on the train)
Both drawings were hand inked but I then vectorized the linework. The duck in Illustrator and the Babysitter in ToonBoom (automagically) Tracing linework in Illustrator on the train is not ideal although the 'pulling points' method Peggy uses is pretty workable. I still prefer to draw things with the brush mode and pen pressure though. It's not the most ideal work environment but it's workable.
