Space Kitten


I think these two are from the same planet. Well. Definetely the same palette. I drew Eixip at FC just as a random sketch that I liked. Not sure what she's supposed to be really. Since she had vaguely butterfly wings, I made her name Pixie spelled backward to make it more exotic. (Aren't I clever)

I was working on her and realized it was time for the Artist Ambush on Furry so I did that and the theme was 'glowy things'. I made the space kitten start to finish in about 20 minutes, so while it's not my most fantastic work, I think it's pretty darned cute for that amount of time (though I should change the whisker colour. It's annoying me)

PS: Won the ambush, of course. I think I have to stop playing because I feel now like I'm in a different league from the other people participating.. See.. The kitten was my 4th drawing for the ambush that night and I finished up another one in photoshop so I actually had two finished entries and two more that I didn't like that much. Feels sorta weird. I can actually draw now or something.
