... I've had repeated attempts with 3D since 1990. Just after a while I remember that I really don't like it. Then some time goes by, I forget that detail, and try it again.

I bought Maya 5 over a year ago, ran through the tutorials and felt I was doing reasonably well and then I took a class in it and really didn't connect with the instructor. So I put it away again and this is the first thing I've done in about a year.

In the meanwhile, I've improved enough at 2D that I'm finding myself more and more reluctant to really study 3D. I find drawn and stop-motion a lot more enjoyable to do.

On the other hand, I sometimes get ideas in my head that I want to animated in 3D so I try to learn it for those ideas. Anyhow, it's fun to work in a variety of media.

Also, I think I'm finally getting the hang of how and when to set keyframes in 3D. That's been the part that causes most of the trouble.
