Weekend Sketches pt2

Got to go to school so I'll break my sketch posts into two parts.

There's lots of other stuff I should probably get around to scanning from my big sketchbook but for now, here's just the stuff from my trip.

I did some tints on some of the art just because it felt like the right thing to do. This was the first piece I really did start to finish while sitting at the campfire. It's sort of vaguely fire themed. The other really 'important' one in this set was water themed and was more self-referential. These two are the most worked. I probably spent a few hours on each of them. They're also a little odd in that I don't generally do head shots. I nearly always draw full figures.
