Coffee, Tea, and Me
Aug. 24th, 2006 10:58 amI keep meaning to mention Dana Street Coffee to Jon. Small local coffee house in Mountain View. Right across from my office, open late, good atomosphere, and cheap. I drink mostly thai iced coffee and chai and can only attest that those are good. Also very cheap. Chai is like $2.10 (compared with the $3.50 at StarBucks)
I don't know the barrista's name. He's tall and thin, rather cute, and wears a brown hat that says, 'HUMAN' on it in yellow, and really, I'd rather think of him as HUMAN than have some name like Ted.
The only downside to Dana Street Cafe is that it's a little smallish and there are no comfy chairs, but we should at least give it a try. It's close to being a Santa Cruz type hangout spot.
