Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price
Nov. 14th, 2005 12:19 pmHey guys! Wal-Mart has been using all of their legal power and thuggish muscle to keep this moving from being shown, so basically the guy that made the film just started handing out DVDs and people are hosting screenings.
I've heard that Lee's Comics is one of the best comic book stores in the area but I've never been there. Thursday at 7PM, they're doing a screening of this show. Heck, it's an excuse to go check out the comic book store AND see a movie. I'm hot for this. It's revolutionary. Wal-Mart may be able to overpower the movie theatres, distributors, and everyone else. They can kill the messenger but not the message. So.. If you can make it, let's go! It's an excuse to go to an indie comic store and more importantly, it's an act of defiance. If you can't make it or you live somewhere else, there are other screenings all over the country.
You can use this link to find them. The details on this one are here.
