Sketchbook dump
Jul. 20th, 2005 09:47 amI finished inking my entire sketchbook a few nights ago. It's choc-full-o-crap. I haven't really scanned anything from this sketchbook. Funny, though a lot of it is better than work I did in the past, none of it really felt worth scanning and making a post about. Anyhow, I decided to ammend that last night and rather than making dozens of posts that my friends have to uncomfortably avoid, I figured I'd just make one mega-post that's easy to avoid by being only one post and by the sheer volume of garbage in it.
So I scanned my whole sketchbook. Well. Not my whole sketchbook. Less than 1/4th of it actually, but everything that was remotely interesting to me, I scanned in sequential order. A lot of the pages are cluttered. I tend to draw 5-20 things on a single page a lot. There's no sex but some nudity. Consistent line-weight throughout because what I was studying while inking was drawing long smooth lines.
Most of the files are < 20K except for one or two that I scanned larger so the text was readable. I just dropped them into a photoshop droplet on my computer so I haven't even checked to see how bad they may have jpg'd though I seriously doubt there's any loss of quality.
Anyhow... This link goes to the directory of sketches. Pages are in chronological order and cropped at random.
