Naughty Fangirls

So.... Yesterday Stacey and I went out grocery shopping. I wanted some squash because it feels like fall and it's time to cook stuff like that. Anyhow, we went to the korean market and we were just kind of wandering and goofing around and inside the grocery store there are several other smaller stores. In the back is one that has knickknacks, Hello Kitty and some korean videos and stuff... So um anyhow... To make a long story short, we ended up buying 'The Archives of Studio Ghibli' 13 Miyazaki films unbutchered by american interference, and 'The Cat Returns'. Both in japanese edition. Wooo. But um. Spent a lot more money than we really should have this month. *^_^* Ohwell. In the end I also got a big fat chinese pumpkin to cook. Yay!

Keyboard Heater

I am the world's biggest dork.

The tempurature has dropped here in the last few days and I get cold easy. So today I asked Stacey if I could close the window and she gave me a smarmy, 'Why don't you just turn your computer around... At which point, I noticed a piece of aluminum bendy hose laying on the floor that she'd got for a project. So um.. With some gaffing tape, I put the end of it over the exhaust fan on my computer and ran it over my monitor so that it is now blowing warm air on my keyboard. If I get cold, all I have to do is render something in Maya. (Although I'm rendering stuff in After Effects right now which works almost as well) Mock me all you want but my fingers are no longer cold! ^_^
