Animation Update

Sadly not so much to report. I kept really busy this weekend but by in large I was doing 'other stuff'. I did get some more charcoal work done on 'Free as a Bird' and I'm down to within 20 cels of completing the color work. (About 2 hours of work if I just jump on it)

Photography and cleanup is slow slow slow though and whiel I have a lot of new stuff finished I figured I'd just save it until I had the thing 'done' before boring people with it again. Test results so far have been less than I'd hoped for. *sigh* It's very jittery at times. Also, I think I missed the deadline for Film Finals at school.

I ordered ToonBoom but its on backorder *sulk*. I also only got the student version after realizing that it's the same price for student plus upgrade to professional as just buying professional straight out. In other words, I can split the payment over two months by upgrading next month. ^_^
EDIT: Called and backorder is supposed to arrive today.

On the bright side, cooked a lot this weekend and played guitar a lot and was generally mellow. I think I've about got it down for shifting from F-major chord to C-major chord without stumbling and I've almost completely memorized the basic version of Fandango. I also played a bit of ... I guess you'd call it jazz but it was an awful slow tempo for it. Sorta my own stuff composing from my head. Not fantastic but at least it's beginning to sound like something, though I'm still woefully clumsy with chords.
