Improving!
Apr. 25th, 2004 12:27 amHere's a full 24-frame-per-second pencil test of the new Persimmon cartoon's opening sequence! http://circle.twu.net/animate/pencil/persimmon_web.mov (It's about 750K. I'd appreciate a full critique of the motion if anyone wants to give one)
Other than that. Wow. Something has changed int he past six months and I'm finding I can suddenly do lots of stuff I couldn't do before. I'm making strong pop-through keys and then just filling in the between stuff like it was nothing. I finally learned that I _can_ deform the character a LOT more than I have been willing to do in the past and I get a much nicer look. This Persimmon cartoon should end up being about 45 seconds in total but geez. No loops and animated at a full 24FPS! That little fuzzball is gonna tire me out! O_O
Now off to bed for me so I can get up at 5AM and go back to work! O_O
