Bunraku colored
So. I've been slowly working on the bunraku picture. Odd. It's a 'more simple' style than what I ususally do but it seemed like a LOT more work to me.
I had been wanting to explore using Illustrator without lines, and this seemed like a good piece to break into that with. I tried to use a minimum of gradiation too and keep it sort of to the older japanese painting asthetic (dunno what the style is called) So. Flat colors, a minimum of lines, and yet somehow it manages to have depth and definition. I'd like to put some bamboo in a put on the left, I think. Other than that I'm rather happy with the piece. Criticism and suggestions for improvement would be totally appreciated.
