Don't just stand there!

So... The ride for my animation stand was shakey, so I figured out the additional cost for us to drive down there and offered him $100 instead of $120. ... I did say my animation stand, didn't I? :) Yay! I'm scum! Well, okay, actually I'm really happy and looking forward to getting started using it. It should take care of a lot of shake problems in my pencil tests, especially stuff that's overlaid. You'd be surprised just how much paper squirms around, even when it is on a registry. Smooshing it with a glass plate will hold it still though.

Mmm... and pans, rotations, dollies. So cool! I am now unlimited in the manual effects I can put into stuff. :) Err. Will be when I get it here. Meanwhile, I get to take a mad road trip with Stacey to Confurence. Hee. A one-day trip to a con that's 300 miles away. Oy. :)
