I'm starting to accumulate gazillions of cels from all the animation I've been doing. Sucks to be a packrat. What do I do with all of them? I've just about filled a two-drawer filing cabinet and I don't have another one. I guess I start buying those plastic filing boxes and sticking them in the attic in the garage when they're full but at what point should I convince myself these things oughta hit the recycle bin?
I've also been using them as freebies when I sell art I throw in an old cel or two but I sell art so infrequently that this isn't very effective plus a lot of my animation is in layers so the cels look kind of lame by themselves and they're not a good giveaway.
Maybe I should have a table at FC and give away free cells next year to any fanboy willing to cart them off. by the end of a convention, my files would be so messy and picked over I think I could feel OK pitching the rest. Hmmm. Sounds like a plan. ^_^
